NUSTEP ONLINE REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

Welcome to the NUSTEP online registration instructions!  These easy to follow instructions will allow you to complete a registration form online, and then print it out so that you and your parents can sign the form. (You may want to print out these instructions before registering). 

Once you have read the instructions and/or printed them out, please check the box at the bottom of this page, and hit submit.  It will take you to the actual registration form.

It is important that you complete the registration form very carefully


  1. Check the Acknowledgement and Click Submit on the bottom of this page after carefully reading ALL the steps
  2. Student Information
    1. In this section, please enter data for each field such as name, address, date of birth, etc. 
    2. Please enter a valid email address.  A copy of your registration information will be sent to the email address you indicate on the form.
    3. Please select the correct high school.  This data field will populate the appropriate courses offered at your school.
    4. For the Anticipated College Major field, scroll through the list and select a major that you might be thinking about studying in college.  If you do not know what you wish to study, please select Undecided.
  3. Registration and Advisement 
    1. If you are a first time NUSTEP registrant, leave the student number blank. Your ID number will be assigned to you and you will receive an ID card.
    2. If you are a returning NUSTEP student, enter your student number if you know it. If you do not know it, leave this field blank.
    3. Select the semester you are registering for.
    4. Select the course(s) you wish to register for. If more than one instructor is teaching a course, the instructor’s last name will appear after the appropriate section.
  4. Payment
    1. Once you have selected all of your courses, you may pay for your registration online:
      • Credit/Debit card – select credit (It is a secure website - no information will be saved). If you don't have the credit number with you when registering online, a transaction id will be supplied in the email for payment later. Visit the payment website and enter the transaction id number. This will bring up the secure credit card website to pay your registration fee. The correct registration fee will be displayed based on the transaction id number.
      • If you receive Free or reduced lunch -- select waiver
      • If your Parent or guardian is employed by Niagara University -- select grant
    2. If you wish to pay by paper check, please attach it to the registration form after you have printed it.
  5. Review
    1. Review the application to make sure all data is correct.
    2. Hit the SUBMIT button.  (this will send the university a copy of the registration, however, you will not actually be registered until payment is received).
    3. An email will automatically be sent to your designated email address, and your completed application will also pop up on your screen.  If you have access to a printer while it is on your screen, you may print it out immediately. Otherwise, you will have to check your email and print it out later.
  6. Once you have printed out your registration, please sign the form, and ask a parent / guardian to sign the form.   Payment must also accompany the registration form if you did not pay online. 
  7. Please give the signed registration form (and payment if necessary) to your instructor by the due date.
  8. Your instructor will mail all the completed and paid registrations to the NUSTEP office.  Once payment is received at the university, you will be formally registered in the course.
